The company TREE WATER (hereinafter referred to as "TREE WATER", "we" or "us") attaches great importance to the protection and respect of your privacy.

TREE WATER is committed to process your Personal Data in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations, and in particular the Law n° 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to data processing, files and freedoms (hereafter the "Data Processing and Freedoms Law"), and the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data ("RGPD").

By using the website http://www.treewater.fr/ (hereinafter the "Site"), you agree to the collection and use of your personal data (hereinafter the "Personal Data" or "Data") in the manner described in this Privacy Policy.

1. WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT?

Personal Data is data that enables you to be identified either directly (data such as your first and last name enabling you to be identified immediately) or indirectly (data such as your telephone number or your contract number enabling you to be identified indirectly).

2. WHEN DO WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA, FOR WHAT PURPOSES AND ON WHAT LEGAL BASIS?

2.1. When you submit an order or contact request via our Site

When you submit a contact request or an order via our Site, we ask you for your surname, first name, address and email address and more if you have created an account.

We use this information to respond to your request and/or order, including providing you with any information you request about our services. We may also contact you several times after your order has been placed in order to follow up your order. We will do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing accurate information before and after a sale or a request for information or contact.

2.2. When browsing our Site

When you visit our Site, server logs are stored. The storage of these logs is legal if the user is fully informed that the logging system has been set up and that the data stored is only used to guarantee the security of the system and the detection of anomalies.

We also place and read cookies, as described below in point 6.

We may also use invisible pixels.

2.3. Legal basis of the processing

The legal basis of the processing is the legitimate interest of TREE WATER to execute the contracts signed with the users following the orders, to provide a client space to manage the orders and to ensure the proper functioning and the security of the Website, as well as to evaluate its audience.

These treatments are also based on the legitimate interest of TREE WATER to develop its relationships with its clients, prospects and partners.

TREE WATER may also use your Data for communication purposes in order to send newsletters, information, and targeted advertising.

3. TO WHOM DO WE DISCLOSE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Your personal data will not be transmitted to third parties, unless they are contractually bound to TREE WATER and act at TREE WATER's request or as a subcontractor. Their access is limited to the data they need to perform their contractual task. TREE WATER always requires from its subcontractors the required organizational and technical protection measures regarding personal data as well as the guarantee of their strict confidentiality.

4. ARE YOUR DATA TRANSFERRED, HOW AND WHERE?

As a general rule, we store your personal data within the European Union. However, insofar as, for example, some of our service providers are located in countries outside the European Union ("Third Countries"), we transfer some of your personal data to Third Countries. This may in particular be the case to Third Countries for which the European Commission has not taken an "adequate protection" decision. In such a case, we ensure that this transfer is carried out in compliance with the applicable regulations and guarantees a sufficient level of protection of the privacy and fundamental rights of individuals.

In this context, transfers of Personal Data are governed by a data transfer contract based on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. YOUR RIGHTS

In accordance with applicable law, you have the right to access and rectify your Personal Data, which enables you to have it rectified, completed, updated or deleted if it is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, as well as the right to ask for the processing of your Personal Data to be limited, and the right to object on legitimate grounds to the processing of your Personal Data.

You may also, at any time and without reason, object to the processing of your Personal Data for communication purposes.

These rights can be exercised with TREE WATER by sending us a letter and/or an email at the addresses indicated in point 9 below.

You are informed that you can at any time file a complaint with the CNIL (3 Place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris).

6. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

6.1 WHAT IS A COOKIE?

A cookie is a small file that websites place on your computer's hard drive when you first visit them.

The cookie contains a unique code enabling your browser to be recognised when you visit the website ("session cookie") or on future repeated visits ("permanent cookie"). 6.3 WHAT TYPES OF COOKIES ARE USED?

  • Performance cookies
    We automatically collect certain information about your computer hardware and software. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, Internet Service Provider (ISP), files consulted on our website (e.g.: HTML pages, images, etc.), operating system, clickstream data, access times and originating website addresses.
    This information is used by TREE WATER to maintain the quality of its services and to obtain general statistics on the use of the Websites. For these purposes, we associate these automatically collected data with personal information such as name, e-mail address and phone number.
  • Commercial cookies
    Our Site uses cookies which, depending on the pages you visit, update the products or services likely to be of interest to you. Thanks to these cookies and to the advertising network of Google (Google AdWords, Google Analytics, the Google Display network and DoubleClick) and Facebook (Facebook, Instagram), we are able to show you advertisements for targeted products and services on other websites that are part of these advertising networks. This technique is called "retargeting". These cookies do not contain any personal data.
  • Invisible pixels
    We use a software technology called web beacons (also known as single-pixel gifs or web beacons), which help us to better manage websites by telling us which content is most effective. Web beacons are very small images with a unique identifier that perform a similar function to cookies and are used to track the online movements of web users. Unlike cookies, which are stored on the hard disk of the user's computer, invisible pixels are integrated invisibly into web pages or e-mails. We use web beacons in our HTML e-mails to identify which e-mails have been opened by the recipients. This enables us to measure the effectiveness of certain communications and, more generally, of our marketing campaigns. We associate the information collected by the invisible pixels placed in the e-mails with the Personal Information of our customers. If you do not wish to receive these e-mails, you can withdraw your consent at any time and we will stop sending you e-mails.

6.4 HOW DO I REFUSE OR DELETE COOKIES?

In your browser settings, you can refuse the installation of cookies. You can delete cookies already installed on your computer or mobile terminal at any time.

7. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES AND SOCIAL NETWORKS

Our Site may occasionally contain links to the websites of our partners or third-party companies. Please note that these websites have their own confidentiality policies and that we decline all responsibility for the use made by these sites of the information collected when you click on these links. 8. CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY
