Treewater in "l'économie drômoise"

This week, Treewater was featured in the latest edition of the CCI Drôme magazine, "L'économie drômoise". It features an article dedicated to our Electrotate research and development project, outlining its goals and progress.

"

Developed by Treewater, an innovator in sustainable ecological solutions, in collaboration with the CNRS, this innovative water treatment process aims to reduce energy consumption and the use of chemicals in advanced oxidation processes, to treat or recycle industrial effluents at lower cost and to extend the efficiency spectrum of advanced oxidation to refractory molecules such as PFOS, metals and microplastics.

ElectRotate offers a paradigm shift by rotating micro-electrochemical cells directly in the treatment tank, instead of using a pump to send the water to a static electrolyser. This process is targeted at all sectors of industry facing effluent treatment/recycling problems, with the aim of combining cost improvements with a smaller environmental footprint.

ElectRotate is also particularly well suited to water treatment in agro-industrial processes, as it can be highly effective in degrading pesticides and provide excellent disinfection. This project won an award at the latest Valence Romans Agglo Business Awards.
